Description 

This wiki will walk you through the process to renew a Matlab license that has expired on a machine. 

Licensing Steps

1. Navigate to the "Go" tab in the menu bar and select Applications.
2. Right click on MATLAB_20xxx and select "show Package Contents".
   
3. In the MATLAB folder, double-click on "Activate".
   
4. Select the "Activate automatically using the internet (recommended)" and then click next. 
   
5. Select "Log in to my Mathworks Account" and log in with the Mathworks email address and password found in 1pass. 
   
6. Select the license you want to install and click next. 
   
7. Insert the username of the user of MATLAB. (The license is user specific) Then click next.
   
8. Confirm the license number and username are correct. Click Confirm. 
   
9. Click finish and launch MATLAB to verify the license is working properly. 
10. FOR LAPTOPS Turn off Wi-Fi and disconnect ethernet to verify that MATLAB launches without a network connection.
