Installing Certificates on an iPhone
- Retrieve the certificate
- If the certificate exists on a desktop or laptop
- Open Keychain Access in Applications/Utilities
- Select the certificate needed (either in login or system), go to File->Export Items and select where to save it, The Desktop is the default.
- Otherwise, download it and have it saves somewhere on the system.
NOTE: The file extensions .cer, .crt, and .der are recognized. Also, .p12 and .pfx files are recognized with only one profile.

- Open Keychain Access in Applications/Utilities
- Select the certificate needed (either in login or system), go to File->Export Items and select where to save it, The Desktop is the defaultOpen Mail.app or the equivalent mail application used to send email.
- Send an email to the account used on the iPhone with the certificate as an attachment.
- Open the email on the phone and click on the certificate.
- Select Install when prompted and select continue if prompted when the certificate is not signed.
- Select "Done" in the top right hand corner.
