Enrolling your Computer to Jamf Cloud
Description
This article will walk you through the process to enroll your computer into our new cloud-based Jamf Instance. Please follow the steps below:
Steps:
Navigate to https://ucsd.jamfcloud.com/enroll/
Enter your UCSD AD username and password and click “Log in”.
For “Asign to user” enter your AD username and click the magnifying glass. Select your username from the drop-down that populates. Click enroll.
Click continue to download the CA (Certificate Authority) and the MDM (Mobile Device Management) Profiles.
While leaving your browser open, navigate to Finder open your Downloads Folder, and double-click to load the two .mobileconfig profiles show below.
Navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Profiles and double-click and install the UCSD JAMF CA Certificate and the UCSD JAMF MDM Profile. Make sure to install both profiles.
Note: If you’re running macOS 16 Sequoia, you will navigate to System Settings -> General -> Device Management. If you are running macOS 12 Monterey, you will navigate to System Preference > Profiles.
You will be prompted to enter your computer password to install the MDM Profile. Enter your computer password and press continue.
Once you've installed the profiles successfully, your browser will show that the installation is complete.
Please let the IGPP Helpdesk know when these steps have been completed so we can verify that the enrollment was successful on our end.
