Mac Mail Attachment Issue

To avoid any issues with sending attachments through Mac Mail there are two things you must check.


*Notice*
Before attaching any files you may want to consider encoding and compressing the attachment into a zip file before you send it.
In order to compress a file:

  • Right-click Right-click on it or hold down the Control key and click on the file.
  • Look for Compress "Name of your file" Compress "Name of your file" and click on it.

Procedure

  1. Under Edit > Attachments Please make sure "Insert Attacments at End of Message" is checked



  2. After clicking on the the attachment button in your compose window make sure that "Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" is checked.
