Procedure

  1. Navigate to your Applications folder.
  2. Open CrashPlan.app.
  3. When prompted, install Java.


    Note: If this installation fails, download Java 1.6 directly from Note: If this installation fails, download Java 1.6 directly from Apple's support page.

  4. After Software Update finishes installing Java, CrashPlan.app opens and all operations begin normally.
