Changing your Mac Mail Password

This procedure works for both Exchange and IMAP accounts.

  1. Go to Mail.app > Accounts Mail.app > Accounts .
  2. Select your UCSD email account in the left-hand pane.
  3. Select the Account Information Account Information tab tab.
  4. Change the password for the Incoming Mail Server Incoming Mail Server with  with your AD password.
  5. Go to Outgoing Mail Server > Edit SMTP server list Outgoing Mail Server > Edit SMTP server list.

  6. Click Advanced Advanced .
  7. Select Authentication Authentication as  as Password Password and  and type in your new AD password.

  8. Click OK OK .
  9. Quit and relaunch Mail.app
