  1. Open a terminal window and a SSH connection to one of the Barnyard computers.
    1. For example, type the following command: ssh
    ssh username username @clyde.ucsd.edu @clyde
    1. username@clyde.ucsd.edu
  2. Issue the following command:
    1. For example, type the following command: ssh ssh username username @clyde.ucsd.edu @clyde.ucsd.edu
      1. du -ksh ~ myname myname /
      2. --replace byname byname with the name of your folder
      3. This should look something like:

    1. The command returns one line, beginning with the total size of your home folder ("G" means Gigabytes)
