For OS X 10.11 El Capitan:
- Launch Terminal Terminal (located in Applications > Utilities Applications > Utilities)
To verify permissions, enter the following command:
Code Block sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages --verify --standard-pkgs / sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages --verify --standard-pkgs /
