Questions Addressed

  • What do I do if I am having trouble connecting with SSHFS? What do I do if I am having trouble connecting with SSHFS?

  • If it keeps asking you for a password, then first connect via SSH in Terminal. Once you have successfully logged into that system, logout and try sshfs again.
  • If when connecting with SSH and you get an error message that looks like the following:

Use these instructions: Changed RSA Key

  • In some cases you may need to specify a Remote Directory within your home (such as “Documents”) to connect successfully.

Note: When connecting from outside the UCSD network, VPN is required.
